We have lots of opportunities for adults of all ages to serve the Lord in many different capacities. All you have to do is get involved!

Becoming everything God created us to be is a journey that should also be an adventure.  Are you living it?  From Sunday morning Bible Fellowship Groups to courses on Marriage Enrichment, Parenting, Finances, Prayer, the Single Life – even the really hard stuff like Divorce, Separation and the Loss of a Loved One – we’re here to equip adults for the journey – the whole thing.

Men's and Women's Ministry programs deepen our relationships with each other and with God.

Women's Ministry of Edwards Road Baptist Church provides opportunities for women in all stages of life and in their Christian walk to be transformed by Bible study, interaction with other Christian women and service. Women are relational. We need one another. God uses these relationships in our spiritual growth. "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6

Here are some of our opportunities:

Men's Ministry

Men's Ministry of Edwards Road Baptist Church takes Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another," very seriously! We realize how important both one on one and group interaction is toward growing spiritually and knowing Jesus. Opportunities for getting together, whether through sporting events, fellowships or other activities, provide lots of ways to point our focus to the Lord.

A good start is through Bible Fellowship Groups on Sunday mornings starting at 9:00 a.m. These groups allow men to be transparent and open with their friends in a non-threatening, supportive environment. Building relationships also allows other ways to branch out and meet, whether through Tuesday Prayer Times at 12:00 noon in Room FLC-109, Friday morning Prayer and Bible Study at 6:00 a.m. in the Library, or through other special events that build comradery and strengthen both earthly vertical relationships and a Heavenly relationship with our Father.
