Be sure to Spring Forward before you go to bed Saturday night, March 7 for Daylight Savings Time!

We look forward to celebrating the Lord's Supper Sunday morning, March 8.

Starting March 8 we will spend the next 6 weeks walking through a DVD and book-driven study called Life On Mission. Pastor Aaron has said he wants us to be a "Life on Mission church." Let's make a strong move in that direction with the men of ERBC! The textbook and study guide will be $20. However, 100% of the royalties for the textbook go to supporting missionaries in North America through Send North America!

Jesus is our accessible King. He is not a faraway God, but an up-close Redeemer who kneels beside us. Join us as we dig into Hebrews with Lisa Harper in this 7-session study. Hebrews reminds us that Jesus reigns supreme, but He also draws near to us with compassion and empathy, and He loves to no end.

ERBC Women's Ministry is offering a new seven (7) week Bible study by Lisa Harper, Hebrews: The Nearness of King Jesus, at four (4) different times weekly. Sign up for your preferred Bible Study in the Ministry Information Center. Workbook cost is $13.

KAIROS Prison Ministry is an ecumenical Christian ministry designed for use in state and federal men's and women's correctional institutions in the United States and throughout the world.

The purpose of KAIROS is to establish a strong Christian community among the residents of correctional institutions. This is done by the presentation of a 3-day short course in Christianity. It is presented by an interdenominational team of about 55 persons for a group of 42 residents. The chaplain carefully selects the inmates from the prison population. The ideal recruits are those residents who are presently the leaders in the institution. There, they become Christ's agents for change in their environment that ultimately can bring about change in the attitude and quality of life for the entire institution.

The primary goal of the KAIROS ministry is to teach those who attend the weekend to become part of a share and prayer group. This allows them to share their lives on deep spiritual level and pray for one-another.

The South Carolina KAIROS website gives much more information, and Ed Chandler will be glad to talk to you further about how you can be involved. Please contact Ed at (864) 244-9153. You can also see a recent Post and Courier article on how KAIROS makes such a difference in men's lives!

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Proverbs 9:10

It is ERBC’s vision to provide a house – shelter – for families to transition into permanent housing. Several years ago God blessed ERBC with 60 acres on the corner of Devenger and Hudson Roads. Not only did He provide land for the future ministry expansion; He provided 3 existing houses on the same property. The Devenger House at 205 Devenger Road (near the ERBC soccer fields) has been under renovation for over a year. The goal is to allow local ministries (GAIHN) to use the Devenger House to transition families without a home into permanent housing. Thanks to many ERBC members who have donated their time, talent and treasure to prepare this house. Pray to see how God would use you!

Mom’s Day Out for babies through 2 year olds and K-3 through K-5 is open to the public. Please call 292-0194 for more information, and you can also visit our website.

The South Carolina Heart Gallery is a photo exhibit displayed in the main hallway that features adoptable children from the SC foster care system. Local photographers donate their time and services to photograph the waiting children. The Heart Gallery basically puts a face on the need by letting people see these children’s faces in the photos.  The goal is to raise awareness of the need for adoptive families and to hopefully find homes for these kids by letting their personalities shine through the pictures.
