AWANA: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed

“... and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 3:15

Children from 2 years old through 5th grade learn and memorize Scriptures that will stay with them their entire lives. A recent study also showed that almost 93% of adults who participated in AWANA as children continued to attend and be involved in church as adults.  Scripture memory is important!

AWANA meets from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. each Sunday evening during the school year, beginning Sunday, September 9.

There are 4 age groups in AWANA:

Puggles: Puggles are our 2 year old children. During AWANA they participate in play time, Bible stories and songs, crafts, and snack. Puggles learn a new Bible verse each week.  Puggles are dropped off and picked up in Room B-105.

Cubbies: Cubbies are our 3 and 4 year old children. Our Cubbies have a Bible story and puppets and then go to play time. After play time they go to their small groups for memory verse and snack. Cubbies learn a new Bible verse every week and make their way through a workbook, earning awards as they go. Cubbies are dropped off in the Wiggle Worship Room and picked up in either Room B-113, B-114, or B-116.

Sparks: Sparks are our K5 – 2nd Graders. Sparks have 30 minutes of working in their handbooks at their own pace, 30 minutes of game time, and 30 minutes of counsel time where they are taught Bible stories and Biblical truths. They earn awards throughout the year and can earn ribbons and plaques at the end of the year. Sparks are dropped off in the Superstars Room and picked up in the Sanctuary.

T & T: T & T stands for “Truth and Training” and is our 3rd – 5th Grade group. T & T students have 30 minutes of counsel time, 30 minutes of handbook time, and 30 minutes of game time.  They also earn awards along the way and can get bigger awards at the end of the year. T & T students are dropped off in the Sanctuary and picked up in the Family Life Center.
