Administrative Assistant for Worship Amy Parker
I was born in Panama City, Florida, but as an Air Force “brat” moved many, many times. While living in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a friend from school invited me to church. It was there that I heard the gospel for the first time and realized I needed a Savior.
My dad retired from the Air Force while I was in 8th grade and we ended up in Georgia where I got to attend one school for my entire high school time. From there I attended West Georgia College where I met Steve. We got married in 1976 – almost 42 years ago. We have two sons. Phil lives in California with his wife Debra and their two sons, John and Andrew. Eric lives here in Greenville with his wife Jennifer and their three children, Allie, Liam, and Colt.
I taught middle school for 40 years. When I decided to retire, many prayers were lifted to find a second “career” to fill my time. God answered those prayers with this opportunity to serve here at ERBC.
When I am not working, I love spending time with Steve and the grandkids. I also dabble in quilting, calligraphy, and cooking.
